We are delighted to share that we have been invited to deliver a workshop for Rotaract!
The workshop will take place at De 3 Krone on the Oudegracht in Utrecht, a beautiful historic venue (where CEAL previously organised a Nihongo Matsuri). This time, the event will be exclusively for members of Rotaract, as part of the Rotaract Europe Meeting (REM), which will be held in Utrecht in January 2026.
Rotaract Club Utrecht is a vibrant association of enthusiastic young people, roughly aged 18 to 35, who live and/or work in Utrecht. The club actively contributes to society through a range of projects supporting charitable causes and offering a helping hand to those who need it most. Members gain valuable experience by organising initiatives, attending trainings and workshops, and visiting companies. Rotaract Utrecht forms part of a worldwide network of approximately 176,000 members across 176 countries. In the Netherlands there are 43 clubs with around 450 members in total, of which Utrecht counts about 20. The club meets every two weeks on Monday evenings to discuss projects, hear guest speakers, or simply share a meal or a drink together. Alongside these meetings, members organise projects, events and social activities throughout the year.
It is inspiring to work with a group so clearly committed to growth, service and international connection — values that resonate strongly with budo and with our own dojo culture.

If your club, organisation or company outing is interested in a workshop or clinic — whether focused on traditional martial arts, Japanese culture, or tailored team development — we would be very pleased to hear from you. Collaboration creates energy, and energy, when guided well, becomes something transformative.
